EN353 is a heat treated alloy that exhibits very high strength. The high strength properties of the EN353 Alloy Steel Round Bar  works well in the field of engineering where having high tensile strength is a property to be desired. For instance, the EN353 Rod  may work well as parts for the automobile and machinery industry. The most common heat treatment used on this alloy is hardening and tempering, both of which improve the mechanical properties of the EN 353 Round Bar . In addition to the high tensile strength, the addition of nickel, molybdenum, and chromium are also responsible for the properties of the Alloy Steel EN 353 Aisi Equivalent . Moreover, there are other characteristics that also make this alloy suited to engineering profiles. For instance, superior ductility and good resistance to wear are the other important Alloy EN353 Mechanical Properties . Ductility is integral for shaping the alloy into bars or rods. The ductility of the material has been attributed to the inclusion of nickel and molybdenum in its alloy. The toughness or what is referred to as impact resistance is a property that is desired at lower temperatures.
